Pre Council Meeting
June 2, 2009

Meeting called to order by Mayor Edwards at 6:00pm.

Present were Mayor Harold M. Edwards, Jr., Councilman Cameron Andrews, Councilman Randall Wright, Councilman Edward Tucker, Councilman Robert Smith, Jr.  Also present, City Administrator Patrick Eidson and City Attorney Rebecca Tydings. 

Mayor and Council Salary Ordinance Amendment: Councilman Smith stated that this would revise current ordinance which was adopted May 6, 2008.  No formal action taken.

P& Z Board Reappointments:  City Attorney Tydings stated that Utilities Superintendant Brumfield made contact with each of the current members and they all agreed to reappointment.  New terms will have a start date of June 2, 2009 and will have staggered duration and end dates as shown below. No formal action taken.

Mayor Edwards adjourned meeting at 6:08pm.
