Special Council Meeting
August 27, 2009
5:00pm

Meeting called to order at 5:08pm.

Present were Mayor Harold M. Edwards, Jr., Councilman Cameron Andrews, Councilman Randall Wright, Councilman Edward Tucker and Councilman Robert Smith.  Also present, City Administrator Patrick Eidson and City Attorney Rebecca Tydings.  

Affidavit & Resolution Executive Sesison held on August 18, 2009:  City Attorney Tydings read resolution.  Motion made by Councilman Tucker to adopt resolution as written; seconded by Councilman Wright.  Motion carried.  Affidavit executed by Mayor Harold M. Edwards and notarized by City Clerk Bedingfield.  Affidavit and Resolution attached and made part of official document.

Executive Session:  Motion made by Councilman Tucker to enter into executive session at 5:11pm to discuss personnel issues and future acquisition of real estate; seconded by Councilman Smith.  Motion carried.

Executive session adjourned at 8:08pm; Mayor and Council did not reconvene.
