Financial Reporting

Georgia House Bill 122 signed into law on May 27, 2010 by then Governor Sonny Purdue created a Tax and Expenditure Data Reporting website or TED website in order to increase government accountability and transparency by making financial information available and easily accessible. The website was developed and is maintained by the Information Technology and Outreach Services Division of the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.

Local governments are responsible for uploading their adopted budgets to the website within thirty days of adoption; audited financial statements as soon as practical after they are completed; and asset forfeiture reports from their law enforcement agencies when they are submitted with the agency’s budget request. Documents uploaded to the site must be in portable document format (PDF). Once uploaded to the site and reviewed by the site administrator, the documents will be available to anyone with an Internet connection.

Click here to access this website to find the City of Centerville’s fiscal year budget documents and auditing information.

Unaudited monthly financial statements may be acquired from the City Accountant, Carol Harrison upon request.  You may contact Mrs. Harrison at 478-953-4734 ext. 204 or email
