As of April 1, City Offices will be closed on Fridays until further notice. We will continue to do business via phone, email, fax, mail, and online Mondays through Thursdays.
All City Buildings will be closed to the general public beginning, March 18, 2020. All buildings will be closed until further notice. This effort is to protect citizens and city employees from the emerging threat of COVID-19. Many offices will still be conducting business via phone, fax, email, etc.

Centerville Event Updates:
For the time being, City events originally planned for March and April will be cancelled. The following events will be affected:
March 21 – Farmers Market and Community Yoga
March 24 – Citizens Academy Class
April 4 – Farmers Market
April 14 – Citizens Academy Class
April 18 – Farmers Market, Community Yoga, and Touch-a-Truck
April 21 – Citizens Academy Graduation
Centerville Probation: Due to the threat of COVID-19, all probation in reporting will be conducted via phone on March 19, March 24, March 26, and March 31. Your previously stated probation day is still your same probation day. Call (478) 971-7720 during normal business hours.
Houston Co. Public Library System: All Houston County Library branches are closed from Friday, March 20 at 6pm and until further notice. They ask that you hold on to all books that you have already checked out. You will not be charged fines for overdue books. Additionally, book drop boxes will be locked so do not use them.
Ryland Environmental: will continue to run routes as normal; Residents are encouraged to bag all trash and make sure bags are tied to eliminate the likelihood of tissue, paper, or other waste from coming out and possibility contacting someone.
Flint Energies: All Flint Facilities will be closed to limit public access until further notice. Drive-thrus and call centers will remain open. Members are encouraged to use electronic payment methods.
