The Centerville Fire Department serves a city of more than 7,000 people covering an area of approximately 3.5 square miles. Within the city limits, there are more than 1,500 private homes and 300 apartments. The department is not only responsible for protecting the lives and property of these 7,000 people but also the thousands of people who commute through Centerville on their way to Robins Air Force Base, Warner Robins, Perry, Byron, and Macon.
Not only does the department respond to fire emergencies, but fire department personnel also respond to medical and rescue emergencies including: Vehicle Accidents; Medical Calls; Hazardous Materials Incidents; and many other types of emergencies.
In addition to our primary role of safeguarding the lives and property of our citizens and visitors, the Centerville Fire Department also offers a wide range of others services to the citizens of Centerville.
