By completing and submitting this form, the applicant understands and agrees to the rules and regulations regarding open burning. Even if you follow all of the guidelines for open burning, you may be required to extinguish the fire if it adversely interferes with another’s enjoyment of life, use of property, or if someone with a health problem is affected. During the burning period, local fire officials may prohibit open burning at any time when atmospheric conditions or local circumstances make burning hazardous.
